First steps completed! They say that to get somewhere, you only need to start, and I am happy that I did. I finished my review on basics of HTML, and I am now ready to build an HTML page with basic elements. I am using Codepen.io to practice the skills I am learning. Here is a link to my first practice page. It looks quite simple, but I was able to add some of the elements and features learned thus far. Inserting images always creates a challenge, and this one took me a while because I am bringing it directly from my Google Drive. Thanks to the amazing community of developers actively sharing their knowledge on the Web, I learned a trick to embed the image from Google Drive into my webpage. Quite exciting!
During the next couple of days, I will be reviewing CSS skills. My next post will likely be either late tomorrow or on the New Year and should showcase my new skills.
