Hi, thank you for stopping by! I am a curious learner, always ready to try new things and to discover new ideas that I can share with others. Over fifteen years ago my husband and I decided to put our son’s future as our top priority, leaving everything behind to start our lives from scratch. We moved from Venezuela in 2003 when the country was already showing the adverse effects of a scary political and economic path. This is how my journey as an educator began.

I wake up every day thankful and excited to be part of this fantastic profession. My career in business and organizational development took a sharp turn as I tried to balance work and family commitments while adjusting to life in this beautiful nation.

Following the procedures and testing needed for career changers, I became a certified educator in Florida.  For the past fifteen years, I have served as a Catholic teacher and school administrator. In the classroom, I wanted to see my students grow and explore their full potential. As an administrator, I now wish to collaborate with colleagues as we learn new ways to reach students in the classroom and beyond. Seeking to improve my practice as an educator, three years ago, I decided to go back to school to earn my first educator degree, an Ed.D in higher education leadership. My goal is to continue growing so that I can share my reflections, tips, tricks, and new tools with those around me.
