The Journey Continues

Clouds

My coding journey continued (or should I say, started again) today. I am reviewing fundamental skills on the Freecodecamp.org site since I had started the program in 2017 and stopped a long time ago. Starting over is a great refresher. I was happy to see that I still remember what I learned three years ago. The HTML section has twenty-eight lessons, and  I completed fifteen of them my scheduled “hour of code.” I will finish this section tomorrow and then code a simple website to share here. I have looked at other programs and taken a few courses on other platforms, but I keep coming back to freecodecamp.org because I like how they organized the courses.

About two years ago, I joined Github, but I never really learned how to use it. Today I went back and started looking around to familiarize myself with its content. I still find it quite overwhelming, but I spend some time in the GitHub lab today and started learning about its features. I am not sure I will collaborate a lot on this platform, but it definitely has great content and resources.

Anyway, I stuck to my new routine for the second day. Let’s see what lies ahead in this journey.
